Travis is 1 year old!

Travis is 1 year old today! It's amazing to think that 1 year ago today our little man came into this world. What a blessing! He had to go see the doctor for his 1 year check-up today and got 3 shots! :-( But the rest of the day was great and he tried a LOT of new food at his birthday dinner at Kaneyama Japanese Restaurant. He started off with some chicken teriyaki, quickly advancing to miso soup, vegetable tempura (sweet potato, eggplant), culminating in the waiters singing Happy Birthday and LOVING the vanilla ice cream with banana tempura.

Carrie's Graduation

Travis and Imelda went with Anjie to see their good friend Carrie graduate in Wichita Falls. It was a fun car ride with Spanish nursery rhymes and it was great to see Carrie.

Chair Workout

Travis' latest interest is pushing chairs around...eveywhere! You have a chair? He'll move it!

Texas State Fair 2008

Big Tex was pretty cool, but that turkey leg was awesome! Travis couldn't get enough of it. I guess the turkey leg that pregnant Imelda ate the previous year at the Fair left a mark.

Spending Time with Grandma

Travis enjoyed sharing a banana with Grandma then had fun trying to grab her water bottle.
